Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yoghurt

After returning from America at the start of this year, I have been obsessed with Froyo - otherwise known as Frozen Yoghurt. A few Korean brands such as Green Cacao and Red Mango offer a range of different flavours of Froyo in Melbourne but none has ever come close to my heart's true love, Pink Berry. I was disappointed that their flavours weren't quite tart enough or too sweet but my disappointment was quickly overrun with extreme happiness when I discovered Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yoghurt in QV, Melbourne.

I was finished with my doctors appointment and spotted out the words 'Frozen Yorghurt'. I was initially dubious and walked away but then my stomach took over control and demanded Froyo for lunch. I soon enough turned around and picked up the biggest cup and started swirling a combination of Original and Green Tea Froyo. No toppings as this is how I've always liked my Froyo to all those Pink Berry swirlers' disbelief. The Original Froyo was tart enough for my taste buds and the consistency was perfect. The Green Tea Froyo was highly anticipated as I had previously had the Green Tea flavour at Green Cacao but the flavours of semi bitter Green Tea and sour frozen yoghurt was a strange combination. Tutti Fruitti's Green Tea Froyo was delicious as it tasted exactly like Green Tea soft serve that I had in Japan. The Froyo is priced by weight and the serving of 385 grams was just under $10.

Although it isn't cheap, Tutti Fruitti is my favourite place to go to satisfy my cravings for good frozen yoghurt. My friends have all been equally dubious but I have successively converted them to Tutti Fruitti lovers. I aim to convert Mr A next as he loves to contradict me but we'll see him soon enough advocating Tutti Fruitti Frozen Yoghurt to friends, pretending as if he had discovered it first all along, as usual - all in good time my dear friends.

  4. 2 things….

My boyfriend and I effing LOVED Pinkberry!! It may or may not be one the main things that have us so excited to go back next year haha!

My boyfriend also gets the yogurt plain! Not me though, I cover it with fruit.

I work in the Melbourne CBD, as soon as I get a lunchtime that’s not cold and raining, I’ll be trying this out!

    1. Hahaha oh man, I always ask everyone when they come back from US if they tried Pinkberry.. cos it's the BOMB! I remember reading that you were trying to plan a trip to US in the vogue thread - so jealous!!

Try it out when it's warmer! Pinkberry will always have a special place in my heart.. but this is good enough until I'm back in the States for Pinkberry!
